Our product is made from a composite of nylon and glass fiber, thus ensuring a strong and rigid product. The device is designed for repeat use, however we make no representations about exactly how long it will last.

Over time, it will develop surface scratches from being utilized in various forms, locations, surfaces, etc. These scratches will add character to the product and will not affect function as long all working components, and tripod screw inserts are kept clean of dust and debris. Once done utilizing the device wipe it down and store it in a clean location.

We encourage you to use your discretion in using the product, and to test it out on various surfaces utilizing all three methods both vertically and horizontally.

While our product is designed for everyday indoor/outdoor usage, we encourage you to exercise caution and common sense when using our product with your smartphone. Always ensure that you have a firm grip on your phone when securing it to the device or removing it from the device.

When attaching your smartphone to any solid metal surface in an elevated position, ensure the magnets have securely attached to the solid metal surface, and your phone is securely incased in the adjustable claw of the device before releasing the phone. This will prevent accidental droppings and/or damage to your Smartphone.

Your Smartphones Companion contains two magnets on the bottom of the device, and two magnets in the arm containing the light of the device, these magnets ensure a strong and secure grip to any SOLID metal surface.

This device was specifically designed without a release mechanism. The reasoning behind this was to avoid any accidental triggering of the release mechanism by the user. An accidental release could lead to the phone sustaining damage from a fall.

To release the phone from the claw grip, the user simply and securely grabs the device from the bottom with one hand, and then with the other hands pulls the phone vertically until the phone has cleared the locking claw mechanism. Once cleared fold the device into its compact form, and secure in your shirt pocket or any other location.

Our products are shipped within 3 business days of processing your payment, contingent that the item is currently in stock. All items are shipped via UPS with a tracking number, so the consumer can track the item during transit.

Returns will be accepted for any product that was received by the consumer with damage, manufacturer defects, or fails to perform as designed.

The product must be returned with a printed copy of the electronic invoice within 7 days of receiving the product for a replacement. Upon receiving the damaged product at the receiving facility, a new replacement will be sent back at no cost to the consumer.

• Misuse, lack of care, mishandling, accidents, abuse or other abnormal use.
• Damage due to improper/unauthorized repairs.
• A modified or altered product.
• Damage to your smartphone while using our product.
• The enclosed tripod has been added as a gift at no additional cost to the consumer. Therefore, it’s not covered under the warranty.

• Product arrives damaged.
• Products that arrives with a manufacturer defect.
• Products that fail under normal use.

Replacing the two 1.5 volt button batteries that power the LED light. Replace the batteries by removing the two screws on the inside of the arm, and the one screw next to the on/off switch.

Carefully remove the inner portion of the arm, thus exposing the LED light, magnets, and the two batteries. Use care when replacing the batteries to ensure you do not damage the connection from the LED light to the batteries. This will void the warranty. Always replace both batteries to ensure full power to the LED light. Then re-attach the inner arm with the other arm and your battery replacement is complete.

Smartphones Companion will not be liable for any indirect, accidental, or punitive damages arising from the use of a Smartphones Companion product. The Smartphones Companion limited warranty does not, in any situation, cover the repair or replacement of property included but not limited to smartphone, other electronic devices and/or other personal property.

Our products are mold fabricated and then assembled by hand. During the hand assembly stage of the manufacturing procedure the technicians conduct quality assurance examination of the product. During the manufacturing procedure it is possible to have small surfaces scratches that are part of a finished product.

This devise contains four magnets that allow the device to attach securely to any SOLID metal surface. If it’s not solid metal the magnets will not adhere to the surface securely, leading to the possibility of the phone being dropped and sustaining damage.

Periodic maintenance is recommended, and it’s as simple as wiping the exterior with a slightly damped rag. Also ensure that the screw inserts for the tripod’s attachments are kept clean and free of dust and debris, in addition to all moving components.
